  1. Ummm....who are they?

  2. Grin - it figures I'd do that!

They're both young adult fantasy writers. Cornelia Funke wrote the Inkheart series - I highly recommend the first one but the two sequels don't keep up. I love her work, though.

Erin Hunter is the pen name of three authors who write the Cat Warrior series. I haven't read any of those. Rose probably has, and I know she's read Funke's work.

  3. Ruth Rendell or Elizabeth George

(don't know if it's been done and I haven't read either!)

  4. To answer Jandy, I think Erin Hunt because most of her sequels held up. Still, Inkheart was brilliant.

Shree- Elizabeth George, but only because I've actually read her; I can't comment on Ruth Rendell.

I think I'll let your "Either/Or" stand, Shree, in case someone else has better insight than I do. :0)

  5. Elizabeth George.

    Lestat or Edward?

  6. Edward - I never could summon up much empathy for Lestat.

    John Steinbeck or William Faulkner?

Sorry (or glad?), in this context 45 is not old. *Lizzie trying to think of a context where 45 is old*
Teasdale and Wylie are two early 20th century American poets - about the same generation as Edna St. Vincent Millay. They were anthologized in high school English texts in the 50's and 60's. I'll go ahead and choose Wylie for you and offer a better either/or as soon as I think of one!

  10. Oh!I think I remember Sara Teasdale now...possibly Wylie too. Sometimes context is everyting. I'll have to go look them up again.
